The EmercyCARD is at the core of Emercy's missionary care and support strategy. From online services and missionary discounts to networking and intensive missionary support, it all runs through the EmercyCARD database. It's more than just an "AAA" card for missionaries, it's about relationships. This project is divided into three different levels, each providing an increasing level of support, while also requiring an increase in involvement on the missionary's end.

Listed below are the different levels; along with their services and membership requirements:

Level 1

Requirements: Complete a quick form with basic contact info. Those who have already posted on the Missionary Job Board will automatically receive a membership.

Cost: FREE

Benefits:

1. Free Missions related research conducted by Emercy's volunteer staff. (i.e. how to ship a car to another country)
2. A Missionary Job Board Account.
3. Logging into your EmercyCARD account will post your discussion topics and resources suggestions immediately to the Missionary Resource Center without the typical moderation time
4. Complete access to the Missionary Resources database at www.missionaryresources.org

Level 2

Requirements: Complete Level 1 requirements, submit a pastoral/missions director e-mail address, 2 personal references, and a description of your ministry. A personal photo is also recommended.

Cost: $15 per year

Benefits:

1. All benefits included with level 1.
2. Free access to The Missionary Retreat Center.
3. Free missionary supplies from the Emercy Warehouse.
4. Free entrance into hundreds of Missionary Hostels all over the world. (Coming Summer 2006)
5. A list of discounts and freebies from missions supply related vendors (i.e. water filters, tracts, web hosting, health insurance, etc...). (complete list available soon)
6. A free copy of the International Ministers Manual by Jim and Carolyn Murphy (A $14.95 value) (S&H applies)

Level 3

Description: Level 3 participants will receive 5 years of intensive missionary care and support from Emercy. Emercy only admits a limited number of participants to this program each year, and admittance is based heavily on working relationships. Although we work with a variety of organizations, denominations, and types of ministries, participants who apply for this level without first building a relationship with the Emercy staff will be most likely turned down. Priority for acceptance is reserved for missionaries who are hard working with large amounts of capacity, but are not reaching their full potential due to a lack of resources and support.

Requirements:

1. Complete all Level 1 and 2 requirements
2. Make 1 trip to the Emercy Headquarters located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA.
3. Complete an annual survey identifying key problem areas before they develop into major issues
4. All Level 3 applications will be submitted to the Emercy board of directors for final approval.

Cost: FREE (after paying $15/yr for Level 2)

Benefits:

1. All benefits included with level 1 and 2
2. Personalized individual support with a missionary care specialist assigned to each missionary or couple. This will include providing research and consulting support along with logistical aid.
3. Emercy will send 2-5 short term teams per year to provide support through construction, medical/dental clinics, or evangelistic outreach. Emercy prefers to work with the missionary's home church to develop teams, but will also introduce the missionary to new churches seeking missionaries to connect with.
