Many of these positions are ideal for college students seeking to gain real-world experience and build their resume. Please check with our office when applying if you are interested in receiving college credit. Many of these positions are elligible for obtaining 3 credit hours.

Administrative Assistant
10 Hours per month
Administrative Assistant needed for basic office administration including tasks listed below. Only basic Quickbooks knowledge is necessary.
This job will include:

Keeping financial accounts up-to-date |
 |
Utilizing Quickbooks to process reports for quarterly board meetings and reviews |

Processing donations and distributing pay to missionaries on the field |
Warehouse Manager
5-10 Hours per week
The warehouse manager will be responsible for managing a 200 square foot storage facility we call the "Resources Warehouse." This position will be responsible for:
 |
Determining current resources needed in missions |
 |
Contacting pastors, missions agencies, missionaries, and organizations to obtain donations and supplies. |

Sorting and cataloging of the warehouse inventory |
 |
Determining locations with the greatest need for warehouse inventory |
 |
Arranging shipping of goods through a wide range of shipping methods |

Project Manager: The Missionary Job Board
5-10 Hours per week
The Project Manager (webmaster) of the Missionary Job Board WILL NOT be responsible for web design or programming.
This job will include:

Moderating Job Postings and discussions on the Job Board |
 |
Contacting missions organizations that might benefit from use of the Job Board |
 |
Helping missionaries find work through the MJB |
 |
Research with regard to job placement |
 |
Arranging shipping of goods through a wide range of shipping methods |

Project Manager: The Online Resource Center
5-10 Hours per week
The Project Manager (webmaster) of the Online Resource Center will be responsible for basic web design functions which will be taught.
This job will include:

Researching leads and resource ideas |

Posting basic text articles on the ORC |
 |
Working with basic search engine placement |
 |
Networking with other missions organizations |
 |
Coordinating efforts with the Warehouse manager |

Recruiter: The Missionary Training School
5-10 Hours per week
This position will include recruiting students for the missionary training school. The recruiter will establish contact with potential missionaries from all over the globe.
This job will include:
Project Manager: The Missionary Retreat Center
Position Filled
Emercy is currently one year away from launching its Missionary Retreat Center in partnership with the Rancho de Gozo y Paz.
This job will include:

Retreat Center Research - reviewing other similar facilities |

Coordination with a missions team prepared for a July 2004 construction trip |
 |
Working with promotional materials such as brochures, videos, etc... |
Vending Manager
5 Hours per month
Emercy currently raises part of its funds through small vending machines placed accross Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
This job will include:
 |
Purchasing bulk orders of vending supplies |
 |
Operating monthly route of re-stocking vending supplies |
 |
Basic paperwork associated with sales tracking |
