Each year, Emercy coordinates and supports short term missions teams that venture into different parts of the world. When a team travels to another country on a short term trip, long term changes always occur. It's an incredible opportunity to watch as God transforms the lives of the team members and those in the community they are working with. It's amazing to see God opening the eyes of Americans to let them see the world for what it really is, and not what the media and cinema portray. As Emercy primarily embarks upon medical outreaches, every trip will provide thousands of people with medical care that they could never afford. While Emercy provides free medical care, the gospel is shared in a loving and gentle way. Nothing is required of the patients for medical care to be received, and most will leave with a smile.
