Each year, Emercy coordinates and supports up to three short term missions teams that venture into different parts of the world. For the next 2 years, our focus will be primarily on Latin America. When a team travels to another country on a short term trip, long term changes always occur. It's an incredible opportunity to watch as God transforms the lives of the team members and those in the community they are working with. It's amazing to see God opening the eyes of Americans to let them see the world for what it really is, and not what the media and cinema portray. As Emercy primarily embarks upon medical outreaches, every trip will provide thousands of people with medical care that they could never afford. As Emercy provides free medical care, the gospel is shared in a loving and gentle way. Nothing is required of the patients for medical care to be received, and most will leave with a smile.

Each trip generally lasts for 9 days and costs range from $800 to $1200 (including airfare). For medical teams, we need four non-medical volunteers for each doctor working. Non-medical staff will serve in a variety of positions, such as taking blood pressure, performing drama and mime, working in general administrative support and auxiliary construction projects, assisting in the pharmacy, translating, and more.

Our objectives are to go and support workers already established in the area. By supporting a well-rooted church, our ministry that lasts only a week can be continued by our local church partners' follow-up. We plant the seeds, workers there water them, and God makes them grow.

If you are interested in participating in one of these trips, please contact us for more information. As information comes available, we will post it on this site.
