11-29-07: The new Emercy International Headquarters has now re-opened in Japan.

At Emercy, our main objective is to encourage and support missionaries, but we realize that we can't do it all. The best way that we can help missionaries become more effective is to help cast a vision for missions in the churches that support them. It is a tragic thing to hear people in the US who say "Sure, we support missionaries, we send them money every month." Most people believe that this is all that is needed. Lack of financial support is only one small reason why missionaries aren't as effective as they could be, and often times it only comes as the result of deeper problems.

Emercy works with churches to encourage a missions vision in the people, so that they will truly have a heart for the mission field, and a better understanding of what is really needed by their trans-cultural workers. From conferences and seminars to bulletin boards and flyers, from home group support teams and care packages to on-field missions teams; Emercy can put your church in the action.

Listed below are some of the services that Emercy can offer your church:

Comprehensive Missions Program Development
This includes first developing a missions leadership team within the church. Emercy will then work with this group to form a missions committee, develop a policy handbook, and a plan for raising missions awareness within the church. Short-Term Missions Teams
Emercy can help your church take missions beyond a vision and make it a reality with short-term teams. These outreaches help get your church members into the action while creating an excitement for missions that is contagious. Our experienced team leaders can walk you through the process of planning your first outreach, or we can lead the first few teams for you. Although we have a number of recommended ministries to work with while starting your short-term program, we are always very excited to help you connect with your own missionaries on the field. If your church has already started in short-term teams, we can connect you with resources like travel insurance, tracts, medicines, duffel bags, training materials, language handbooks, and more.

Training Seminars
